Four Years Ago...

..we got a phone call to say that the litter of deerhound puppies we were waiting for, had been born. 

Four years later, here is one of those pups, our gorgeous Brodie. Much loved and a very big part of the family. As you can see, she wasn't too keen on the candles. 

We took them up to the Ridgeway and the Waylands Smithy. I've posted an extra photo of the highest dog in Oxfordshire, with a storm approaching.  Needless to say, we all got soaked to the skin.
