Last Day of Summer?

It was such lovely start to the day with warm sunshine.  I lost count of the number of butterflies in the garden.

A few leaves have started falling from the trees. By 4:30 pm the storm clouds burst the temperature plummeted and hailstones came thundering down followed by heavy rain.

The forecast for the week ahead doesn't look too promising and then it will be September :(
