Kayaking on the lagoon

Life in Rarotonga is very chilled out! So when we eventually got up, we went for a stroll and a coffee before hitting the high seas.....otherwise known as a tranquil lagoon on a kayak. The water was shallow enough to walk pretty much the entire way across to where it met the pacific.

The water was clear enough to see all the fish brave enough to venture out with the kayak above. Was literally like floating above an aquarium!

The paddle back wasn't quite so tranquil as the wind had picked up, reminded me of when I rowed on the thames and the tide turning so having an easy row out and a horrible one back or vice versa!

The evening consisted of educating my dutch friends the rules of rugby whilst watching the All Blacks whoop Ireland.
