Recycled Lada

Bryan and I have both experienced Costa's Lada ride to Falesti, 20 minutes drive away. It took almost an hour last week and again today as he ran out of diesel, on both journeys. Although diesel is less than half the price at pumps in the UK, it is still an expensive item so Costa was coasting down every incline and reluctant to slow down for any pedestrians or horse and cart which might be on the road. I guess he only puts a couple of litres in the tank at a time.
The Lada journeys are made more exciting on sharp corners when one or other of the doors flies open - luckily no one has flown out at the same time so far.
However, there comes a time when finally the cars become too far gone even to drive on roads in Moldova and then the parts can be made useful in other ways.
How about this garden gate, with operational window!
