Rosa pimpinellifolia

Burnet Rose (Rosa pimpinellifolia) flowers for a short period in midsummer. That's why we call it Midsummer Rose. Its fragrance is sweet.
Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns. I am thankful that thorns have roses.
