Snapshots of rural France

Bloody estate agents...

We spent the last couple of days preparing for a viewing, brought in the gardener for extra work etc and at 12:15 whilst waiting for lunch to arrive in a café, I get a phone call. Our agents colleague was doing the viewing whilst our agent is on holiday. They live 10 minutes apart and her keys are at the colleague's house. She says-I thought the key was going to be in the door! To which I replied no, the key to the gîte is in the door-the key to our house is with your colleague (would you leave your home unlocked?!). Whilst on the phone she asks the clients if they wish to view later to which they replied no. So our house is immaculate after lots of hard work and she didn't even ensure they viewed it. It sounded like a cop out to me. To say we're annoyed is an understatement. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
