Up on the roof.

Up on the roof today, but not any of these.  This shot was taken from the front garden today and is notable because, on Saturday morning, M. Eyrignoux finally took down the huge pine tree that had been blocking our view of the church tower.  Hurrah!  But I was up on our own roof today with Syd the roofer, because we had a small leak during the big storm on Saturday night.  We think we have now solved the problem by adding weatherproofing under the old slate, but I had to be up on the roof for a couple of hours in the blazing sun acting as Syd's gopher (or is it go for?) climbing up and down the ladder fetching and carrying stuff. Normally no head for heights, me, but we got through. In between times N and I were packing up the caravan for tomorrow's trip to Gaillac (sun, chill and wine tasting!!)
