Ball of Time.

Just gone 1pm. The Time Ball on the tower at Deal has come down. Built in 1855. As a guide for ships to set their clocks by. Operated now by an electronic signal from the Royal Observatory at Herstmonceux. When the ball is half way up its time to get your watches out, when its all the way up --- get ready.
There are ones still working as well in Cape Town, Quebec, Gdansk and Brisbane.
