Crusty Crumble

We cycled with friends on the ambitious route to Cesky Krumlov, aka Crusty Crumble. Today was the coolest day weather wise so was the only day to cycle the 38 miles and 1500 metres of climbing. Oh but it was worth it. It was a beautiful town, so pretty. It felt like a set from a Hollywood film. So colourful, lots of tiny ally ways and steps going up and down. We had a delicious meal and were adventurous with our ordering!

After exploring the town we had to cycle home. We climbed out of the town climbing 100m in a mile, phew that was hard but we made it. That was the 18% hill then we had a 12% hill followed by further gradual climbing until the decent into Frymburk.

We spent the evening in the bar recounting our tale and catching up with others tandemists
