Jonquil

The late winter sun had some real warmth in it today.  18 degrees apparently, and feeling every bit like a spring day.  The last of the late afternoon sun kept these beauties illuminated too.  I do love the promise that spring brings.  Finally feeling as though there's some light at the end of the cold, grey winter tunnel.

On a completely different note, I was gifted a box of old camera gear today.  G's father passed away a few weeks ago and his mum has been cleaning out some of his things.  They found the box containing quite a few bits and rather than throw it all out, G has given it to me.  What a wonderful, generous gesture.  Thank you so much :)  I think there will be a blip or two coming from the box soon enough.
