Hobnobbing with Royalty (Almost)

Today, we drove through the gorgeous Cotswolds to HRH The Prince of Wales' home, Highgrove, where we had a two hour guided tour of his private gardens.

I ordered the tickets ages ago online, and when they arrived, I was sad to see that it is clearly and firmly stated "Mobile phones, cameras, binoculars and other forms of recording equipment are not allowed on the Highgrove Estate."  Therefore, all you get, Gentle Reader, is a photograph of our tickets,  the Highgrove pamphlet with above admonishments printed therein, and a souvenir book of the gardens I purchased at the Gift Shop on the way out, opened to an appropriately pretty picture.

It really was a lovely place, and very creatively done -- you really got a sense of Prince Charles' character from wandering through his own private Eden.
