Rainy Day Sunflowers

Another day of almost constant and at times very heavy rain so in the lull I put my almost spent sunflowers from last weeks blip outside to brighten up the garden bench and a dull corner of the patio for a day or so.   I was also thinking that the birds might like to pick the seeds from them too, but they will probably turn their beaks up at them and favour the sunflower hearts and suet blocks!
I suppose I should have left these gorgeous flowers in their natural colour but I had ten minutes to spare and I just got carried away faffing about with effects and quite liked the resulting image!
