Maybe my claim to fame!

When I opened my moth trap a couple of days ago, this really very beautiful little beetle was sitting on one of the egg boxes.
As it is really quite distinctive, not in any of my books and not something I have ever seen before I posted it on the Pan Species listing Facebook page.
Imagine my surprise to find it is a Eucalyptus leaf beetle paropsisterna selmani, a bit of a pest in Australia and Ireland, but only recorded a couple of times in the UK.
Because of this, I am taking it to The Natural History Museum in London next week for a positive ID...How exciting is that!!
