Looking wistfully from a window!

Spotted in Manchester earlier today this is Frank Sidebottom (the British love any reference to bottoms - don't ask me why, we are just like that!).

Frank Sidebottom was the creation / alter ego of a lovely man (Chris Sievey) who lived in the next village to mine (Timperley).  You can find much more about Frank's creator here.  I remember seeing Frank often on television but never actually knew who created him until Chris's untimely death in 2010.  

There is plenty on YouTube of course and if you like daft, British humour you will be delighted with Frank.  Frank did so much to put his adopted home, Timperley, on the map they even erected a statue to him.
