Reunited with my watch

I always wear a watch and feel bare without it. This morning I somehow failed to put mine back on after my shower, not realising my omission until I was well on my way to Milton Keynes. In spite of the occasional forlorn glance at the pale strap mark on my arm, I didn't really miss it that much - between the car clock, my iphone and laptop I was never more than a quick look away from knowing what the time was. Nevertheless, it felt extremely reassuring to put the watch back on once I got home. It's amazing how comforting familiarity and habit can be!
