Stressful Bùi Viện

I went to the place I had my very first meal in Vietnam in January to have another bowl of phở bò and in the evening I went for a meal just off Bùi Viện, the main tourist street. Most days I don't even see another foreigner, so Bùi Viện is actually a bit of a shock when I occasionally venture there, especially at night. I find it quite stressful as I'm bombarded with forceful offers of beer, massages and drugs. It's amazing that my hotel is only five minutes walk away but it's a totally different world.
