Not the norm

A wet morning was a good reason to visit the Museum of Country Life near Castlebar. It had dried up & there was a donkey day, educating people of the way to properly look after donkeys.
The farrier was illustrating how the feet should be looked after, our wet weather plays havoc with them & he only put one shoe on, it was so tiny compared to a horse shoe.
The museum is well worth visiting, free entry (donations greatly received), but the shop & tea room were pricey
