Camouflage

There were lots of damsel flies hovering around the blackberries at the water edge and we remarked on their brilliant colouring.  In complete contrast  the dragonfly was difficult to spot as it hid in the hawthorn hedge. 
I was supposed to have had my dental treatment finished yesterday but the appointment was cancelled when we arrived.  Another appointment was made for next Thursday and that has been cancelled and rearranged for the following Monday!  All I want for Christmas is my eyetooth crowned! 
Another breezy but fine day and the washing is dry!
