Original metal curtain track.

Every room has a pole for the curtains, except the spare room.

That has an original metal track in it.

The noise of the metal hooks on the track as you pull the curtains still makes my toes curl.

The fact that there are only 6 hooks per curtain also drives me insane.

So after a good old hunt, I have found a plastic curtain track and a huge bag of hooks and runners.

I fear the end of the line has come for this original fixture.

Soon they be well hung and nicely gathering curtains with silent swishing action.

The thought alone fills me with joy.
