Wooden towers

The first of ten towers built in the outskirts of Hoensbroek.
It's all about simplicity.
Simple scaffold slats of 5 meters are placed obliquely in the round, making them stand in a type of fan shape.
This is the same form that the historic Van Iterson cooling tower ever had. Cooling tower which was once the symbol of the modern technology that mines made it big.

That symbol is the Year of the Mines back. There should rise ten towers in Hoensbroek. The first are now standing on the site of the former state mine Emma, now Brunssums territory. Cultura Nova festival there will also form an idea about the structure.
