High Winds

No, we didn't magic ourselves to the Sahara overnight.

Well, the weather advisory was correct, we've had an extremely windy day.  At 6 a.m. I could hear it whistling and rattling so I got up to stack up the chairs on the deck and put them in the lee of the wall.  To say we took a walk on the beach really isn't true, standing and walking were quite tricky.  We came back for something to eat and de-sand ourselves as best we could.  Later in the afternoon we staggered in the direction of Haystack Rock, a large dune had been created in just a few hours.  By 3 p.m. the highest winds have died down, we're pooped, the sand blasting our skin was beginning to get too much as well.  A few extras.
