LIMF day #1 for me and it was a cracker. Made all the better because I wasn't sure what to expect and the expectations weren't high any way.  But this was very cool.  The Bluebird Cafe took their thing away from Nashville and brought it to Liverpool.  Musicians in the middle of the room, just talking and strumming and playing away with an invitation to anyone who wanted to join in to, well, join in.  Whispering Bob Harris curated it and compered the evening with some style.  I missed Basement Jaxx in the park for this, and I'd thought I'd drawn a short straw.  Far from it.  Great, great night.
