St.John's Bridge

This is hopefully the last iPhone shot for awhile ... I am the happy owner of a new camera! ( It's the Sony, Mr. Hobbs) While the camera battery is charging, I'm reading the manual and excitedly awaiting tomorrow's test shoot.
A strong windstorm arrived last night, wreaking havoc at the finish line for the Hood to Coast Relay. Large tents set up at the beach for the celebration were literally blown away from their moorings. The finish was moved to the city of Seaside, rather than the open beach. Here inland we woke to thunder and lightning, and the fierce wind. Things are calmer now.
