Goodbye pig gristle

First day in Jakarta, Indonesia today. Here for a month with work so am delighted that Javanese food appeals to my palate more than Vietnamese.

The city itself is hard to get your head around. Worst traffic in South East Asia, bar none. The largest city in the world without any form of public mass transit system. Am not normally daunted by new places but after work I had to scuttle back to my hotel for safety. Will aim to be braver tomorrow!
