Scratching around for a blip

When a vendor offered to sell his bedroom suite to his purchasers, and they declined, we decided to take him up on the offer instead for Alex and Sam who have been sleeping on the floor for a number of months now.  He was very pleased, so this afternoon, whilst loading the furniture into the car, two chickens came to visit, calmly scratching around in the mulch for afternoon tea.

Then to Russell and Deb's for drinks and delicious nibbles.  What a nice way to end the day.
