The Union Chain Bridge .........

........... crosses the Tweed near to where we are staying for a couple of nights with the family.  It is the first suspension bridge to carry traffic and was built almost 200 years ago. 

 This is taken from the Scottish side.   Tweedy, whose birthday it is today, is in the centre of the shot.  Her blip is from the English side of the Tweed.
