Devils Bridge

Today was a really cool day.

Had a very large full veggie Breakfast at the railway station in Aber and did a little people watching. Went to the Vale of Rheidol (spelling probably well off on that one) steam railway. Got tickets by the skin of our teeth and took the hour long journey from Aber to Devil's Bridge where we walked the steep route at super quick speed. My legs felt well exercised to say the least. Lovely sunshine and dappled light, fresh waterfalls and very big, steep stone steps. Felt quite tired on the journey back but enjoyed the gentle pace and more people watching.

Back in Aber cake was bought and then a bright blue bubblegum ice cream from the pier ice cream parlour. Managed to lie on the beach in the sun for half an hour or so and then collected the car and journeyed on to Bala.
