Calzone

Today was the first day of the new term for BabyCyclops's swimming class after a couple of months off.  He is now in the toddler class.  He had a great time and was very smiley and splashy.  Perhaps a bit more freestyle in his approach now he's tasted freedom in his armbands over the summer.  Due to his enthusiasm he was used as the stunt baby twice for demonstrating new skills.  No photos as cyclops is away, but we were accompanied by Granny and Grandpa, and BabyCyclops waved at them often.  A new family have moved into our class, and we know them from the neonatal intensive care unit!  It was nice to see them after more than a year and to see how well they are doing.

After swimming we went for lunch.  Due to lack of parking/tables we ended up on plan C at Prezzo in Newhaven, but it was great.  Lovely spacious restaurant, good food, nice view.  BabyCyclops had a 'mini' ham and mushroom calzone from the kids menu.  You wouldn't believe the size of it, it was like a dinner plate folded over.  He didn't finish it, but he did enjoy it.
