Fishing Permitted

Fishing is allowed at this pond on Clapham Common. Eagle Pond is well stocked and we have seen massive Carp and Bream being landed.
According to regulars, who always put the fish back, some Polish visitors were recently looking for a free dinner .... until they were told the fish have been caught so many times, and are full of so much lead shot, that they are probably poisonous. It was a good deterrent.
