MonoMonday – Secret – mm83

Sssh – don’t tell Auntie but I’ve taken her clock to pieces .  .  .
 
The other secret is that for the past thirty years or so it has kept perfect time, and after one autumn many years ago when it was young and we forgot to put it back to BST it remained on Auntie Zélie time all year for many years without adjusting – until the battery went flat .  .  .
 
This was another battery change but the motor had come loose allowing the hands to swivel so it was a quick tighten up the centre nut job.  Now to put it back together.
