Copenhagen in Bronze by Steell

One of Edinburgh's most iconic statues, although I have focussed on Copenhagen rather than the Duke of Wellington.

The statue was commissioned to John Steell in 1842 and unveiled 10 years later just prior to the Dukes death.

I continue this mono series and have resisted the temptation to blip birds. Thank you for all the wonderful comments stars and hearts yesterday.
