Dough!

I'm not like other men. I can't have posh, professional birthday cakes due to allergies*. So EdiSteve decided to make me a lovely cake. And I decided to help.

We both decided to ignore the bit about greasing the tins and using parchment. Excessive, obviously - we've made some lovely cakes in our time!

Attempt 2 after tea ...

* glucose-fructose syrup/dextrose/invert sugar syrup/partially inverted sugar syrup/refiners' syrup/corn syrup - these things are the devil
