Squirrely Breakfast

 I startled this guy a bit when I first saw him and he started up a tree, but after I stood there quietly for a couple of minutes and pretended to ignore him, he came back to his breakfast. Maclura Pomifera is known by many common names---horse apple, hedge apple, Osage orange---are just a few of those names.. Squirrels are some of the only wildlife to make use of them for food, but as you can see, they certainly do love them!
