A very misty day at St. Michaels mount

Mark wanted to get some work done at Falmouth uni so dropped me off with Lesley and the kids and we headed over to St. Michaels mount for the morning. It was a classic Cornish sea mist but very atmospheric to see the castle in this weather. The kite surfers were out which was fun to watch and we got to walk across the sands as the tide had turned. The mount was as eclectic as ever I particularly enjoyed the chemical weather clock - must look that one up. In the afternoon the mist started to clear a little so we could just make out some coastal landmarks. We headed back to mullion to check out surf attire and ended up having a lovely meal, with all of us including grandad, at the mullion cove - a gorgeous sun set
