I was walking with my grandsons along the path at Crissy Field, the recreation area on the Presidio. The Golden Gate Promenade provides access to the restored tidal marsh and beaches along the bay shore. We were enjoying  the expansive views, water birds, native plants and sandy beaches. I watched this guy for awhile before he took flight.
