On A Roll

Early doors to try to get a hare gambolling through the fields but no joy. Although I saw a couple in the distance, trying to tread silently through a heavy clay field planted with beans which if you touched them rattled in their pods was a none starter. In the quiet of the morning they sounded alarmingly loud! As soon as I got near the hares lolloped off - well - as you'd expect.

The next field was  full of rolled bales so at least all was not in vain. The dogs are looking at me now accusingly as they were left at home as I was on undercover stealth manoeuvres.
