Spent a very enjoyable day in Liverpool, dodging showers.
Found Liverpool One which is a great open air shopping centre. Sheltered in the Thorntons Coffee Shop (everyone should!) waiting for the rain to ease before heading to the Albert Docks.
There are some fabulous buildings in Liverpool, but really poor weather meant I didn't really get a good chance to look around and take photos. We visited the Museum of Liverpool which was fascinating and then lunch overlooking the docks. Fabulous Day.
Extra photo shows some of the love locks on the chain railings running alongside the docks.
