Towards Great Chatwell

More big skies.  A late appointment took me out to a rarely visited part of the district.  More interesting skies; the clouds on the horizon had put out some flashes of lightning but too far away to record.

Technique:  a 5 image stitch using Lightroom's photo merge facility.  This was handheld, portrait orientation with a 2 stop ND grad to hold back the sky's exposure.


ps I have also added an aerial image of Weston Park, 10 days after the V Festival finished.  It was the wettest year since 2008.  I spoke to the park manager today and he has every confidence it will recover, but a bit of dry warm weather would help!
