It would be hard to imagine a late summer border without Japanese anemones . Oddly, though in most years they flop just as soon as they come into flower, this wet and cold season they've stayed much more upright. 

Anemone 'Honorine Jobert' is probably the best behaved of the few that we grow, rather less invasive than some we could mention!
