Bicycles galore...

...around Wooler at the moment to celebrate the fact that the Tour of Britain will pass through the town next Wednesday. Large bikes and small bikes - all coloured red and yellow (the colours of the Northumberland flag) - are appearing in the most unlikely places, and bunting is being put up too. It all looks very festive. Rather sad that I shan't get to see the spectacle, as I'll be at work.

A very grey, damp day. The thermometer on the car showed 11deg as I left work this afternoon, but it felt colder than that in the wind and drizzle!
