Color at Earl's Court

Our flight from Boston arrived at Heathrow Airport (London) at about 8 a.m. this morning, and after an unusually slow trip into town on the underground we arrived at our hotel, just around the corner from this floral pub. The blue hair lady clashes a bit, I know, but that's very much London.  We rested to tame our jet lag much of the rest of the day. 

In the evening on TV I saw Wales beat Cyprus in a qualifying round for the Euro 2016 football championship, with a late header by Gareth Bales--one of Real Madrid's up-and-coming players.  Wales currently ranks 9th in the world among national soccer team, which I was surprised to learn.  Wales now only needs one more win to qualify for Euro 2016.
