Flower Friday . . . Kowhai Flowers

These Kowhai trees are planted on one side of Whakaue St beside a hotel car park.  The bright yellow flowers are another sign of spring.  They are grown throughout New Zealand and the flowers have been depicted on our coins and stamps.
Todays movie was Ricky and the Flash.  Meryl Streep is very funny in this and the music is great.
