The Rinnen See

The book said it was a pleasant 50m excursion from the Franz Senn Hut up to the Rinnen See. The book was wrong. It was 500m. But the view was worth it. What we found when we got there was a notice explaining that this was one of the best lakes in the world for a reflection of sunrise- between August 20th and September 3rd. But that would have meant getting up the next day at 4.30 am for another 500m ascent and then descending before beginning our "proper" walk. I decided to leave it to my imagination.
