Home - to a pile of junk!

Only been away for 4 nights but came back to a full mailbox (only 3 deliveries, today's came after I got back) 9 items of junk - 3 personal letters.
The junk weighs 979g and will go unopened into the recycle bin.Three of these firms I have dealt with and have repeatedly requested NO CATALOGUES PLEASE - I ORDER ONLINE ! Three of the others I have never dealt with anyway.How can all this waste be good for the economy or environment?
