rattling and rolling

So we had some sleep, Yey!  first wake up call wasn't until 4am and no screaming or hollering which was great...

and...Little un was really keen to wear her new dungarees today... Her foster family are lovely people and always had her dressed beautifully, they also provided her with loads clothes so we haven't really had to buy her anything, however many of her clothes are pink and girly and as readers of my blog know,  since coming to live with us, she's really letting out her tomboy side... climbing, sliding, not washing, and every time I let her choose what to wear, she picks the blues clothes... so I bought her denim dungarees,  they were good in the 1970s and still are now...she looked uber cute and she really liked them...

Mother and toddler group was great...loads of toys, an indoor climbing frame, and friendly people... we both enjoyed it...

The day was working out to be a golden day... until... little un decided that she didn't want an afternoon nap, and wanted to be really overtired instead...

So a few ructions this afternoon,  I didn't get my tea break and for a bit of time, nothing could please little un... but the storm did blow over, I took the approach that only singing and dancing would keep us both going... So Mother Goose club, stamping, clapping, rattles and maracas got us through the rest of the day and at least tiddler went to bed easily as she was shattered... ( but so am I)
