The Doric, Edinburgh

This is the exterior of The Doric Bar and Restaurant in Market street Edinburgh, the venue for a lunch with some former colleagues and acquaintances . The Doric claims to be the oldest gastro-pub in Edinburgh, having been founded in the 17th Century.
A noticeably different Edinburgh today now that the festival is over for another year.... fewer people, less bustle and buzz.

PS   What a dismal performance by Scotland in Georgia, just when we seemed to be improving.
