We had a stroll through the nearby parks early on, while Harriet took herself back to bed for a nap, still tired after our long day trip to Vilnius in Lithuania yesterday.
I rather like the Latvian style of formal planting; it's a little less formal I suppose, more free flowing and curvy.
In the afternoon we left the city and headed for Sigulda National Park.
