Dianthus amurensis.

Two years ago this month I travelled to Sweden at the invitation of Peter Korn, a most unusual gardener who organises international speakers to give plant and garden talks to Scandinavian audiences.  As well as good memories and a few crocus corms I came home with some seed from Peters garden.  This dianthus came from that pinch of seed.  I only managed to raise the one plant but I will save seed from this one for the future.

Yes, gardening curtailed by rain here for much of the day.

A treat tonight as Jacinta and close friend Chris played their recorders in a charity concert.  The other performers were young men, cello, piano & voice, studying at either Royal College of Music or the Northern equivalent.  All very talented ... very talented.
