Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

75

Oh my , what happened to 3/4 of a century?  :-)    Usually H and I are here by ourselves on my birthday but since labor day is late, we’ve got son P and family here for a very special birthday!   It’s been an awful stormy, wet, cold week but today in the afternoon the sun came out and the beach was wonderful and even a bit warm just before dinner.  So we braved the shadows (!)  today and just took the family photo.   This is what 75 (in need of a haircut!) with granddaughters 5 and 11 looks like.  The extra is everyone else, including Maple Sugar.  (who is actually getting worn out running all over)

I am such a lucky Nanna!     Will add some more to the family week flickr set later—-after dinner.  There has been lots of baking going on today... poppy seed muffins and chocolate chip pancakes for brunch and I did see a cake cooling in the kitchen!    A lovely day!!!
