Two Old Boats

Today was our 28th wedding anniversary so Linda and I went for a drive up to the Muskokas (cottage country) to poke around some shops, have a cool swim in a lake, and have a nice dinner out. It was grand. Along the way, in Gravenhurst, we stopped by to see the RMS Segwun and the Wenonah II - two old steamers still plying the lakes up there. One of these days, we'll take passage on one. Autumn is coming. Hmm....

The RMS Segwun (1887) is Canada's oldest operating steamship. The Wenonah II is a 2002 replica (mostly) of the Wenonah (1866).

Info on the ships can be found at Linda's nearly identical blip two years ago.
